Established for over 30 years as a residential home for the elderly, the Haven Court is an attractive detached property which commands fine views over the peaceful setting of Cary Park in Torquay. Haven Court is ideally situated for it's purpose and stands on level ground within easy walking distance of a church and many local shops, surrounded by the mature trees and open space of the park. |
Proprietor Steve Walton, and the manager, Jenny Walker-Adair, welcome elderly ladies and gentlemen who need some help with daily tasks or who want a safe home environment with no stress or worries, and care always at hand if required. We aim to provide good quality care and life experience maintaining residents privacy, independence and dignity. |

Inside, Haven Court is light and sunny with many rooms looking out over our beautiful gardens and the park beyond for maximum advantage. |

All of our bedrooms have their own private sitting areas and are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, most have en-suite toilet facilities, some with baths and all have modern nurse call system. Residents, who wish, may
utilise some of their personal furniture in their room, and everyone is encouraged to bring small personal possessions to create a unique homely atmosphere in individual rooms.

We provide a choice of areas in which to sit and enjoy the company of others, join in with the optional organised activities, watch television or listen to the radio in company, or simply enjoy the views of our beautiful gardens and Cary Park to which we have easy and direct access. |

We have a pleasant and well appointed dining room but will happily serve some or all meals in a resident's room if requested. Our policy is to provide a varied menu of good home cooking, using fresh produce wherever practicable, and always do our best to provide special diets when required and will welcome suggestions and helpful comments regarding the menu. |
We have a very good relationship with all the local Doctors and new residents who are registered with a Torquay surgery can usually keep their arrangements in place. In the case of someone moving to us from outside the area, we will help with all the necessary registration formalities. We enjoy many visiting services for the benefit of our residents and these include hairdressing, chiropody, dental treatment, optician, physiotherapy, district nurses and clergy. |
