Our guest house is superbly situated in beautiful Torbay, at the heart of the English Riviera in the county of Devon. We are approximately 2 minutes walk from the sea front and the English Riviera Centre, offering bed and breakfast accommodation and holiday accommodation in Torquay Devon.

The gentle climate, stunning views, delightful parks and gardens make Torquay a place where all the family can relax and be entertained. Explore the 22 miles of coastline with its many beaches and coves, switch off the stress and enjoy soaking up Torquays unique atmosphere.

Torquay has a superb marina and is a great place to enjoy watersports, sailing, jet-skiing and windsurfing. Walk along the coastal path, or search for a souvenir of your holiday from Torquay’s interesting variety of shops.

We are located in the heart of the beautiful English Riviera in Devon Torquay and we offer a warm & friendly welcome to our guests at The Summerlands Guest house.

Enjoy exceptional bed and breakfast accommodation in Torquay in our recently refurbished and AA awarded 4 Star Guest house within smart and elegant surroundings. In our guest house we can offer accommodation for up to 17 guests in a variety of Single, Double, Twin and Triple Rooms (triple rooms have a Double and Single bed) all are non smoking en suite Rooms.

Our Rooms are all tastefully decorated in pastel shades with co-ordinated accessories. Complimentary toiletries are provided to welcome you, and all of our guest house bedrooms are equipped with the following:

A refreshment tray: with Tea (Herbal and Breakfast), Coffee and Biscuits. Remote Controlled Colour TV, Hair dryer, Alarm clock we also have Mini Fridges available.

On the landing we have a ironing station for guests to use.

The Summerlands Guest House is situated in Torquay with great views, lots to do and a beach nearby, with a huge amount of entertainment available for all ages and personalities, with family entertainment, pubs and clubs, arcade amusements and lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities throughout the area.

Breakfast is served in our ground floor Dinning Room from 8.30 till 9.15, other times by prior arrangement.

We offer Full Cooked English Breakfast, which includes: a quality range of Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Baked Beans and Egg.

There is also a selection of Cereals, Orange Juice and Preserves, along with various Teas and Fresh Ground Coffee.

For the vegetarians we offer, a meat free range of Sausage Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Baked Beans and optional Egg along with fresh fruit.

Guests have their own set of room and front door keys so you may come and go at leisure to the guest house . We have just had the front garden area decked and its now where our guests like to sit and have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere before maybe strolling along the seafront into town.
