The Heritage Hotel is well known on the South Coast for it's slightly elevated position overlooking Tor Abbey Sands, a safe and sheltered beach. The hotel is a short walk from Torquay Harbour, the Riviera Conference Centre, Princess Theatre and the town centre shops! It faces south and occupies one of the finest positions of any hotel in the area. Parking is not a problem as the hotel has its own car park as well as being next to a large public car park

he whole of the first floor of the Heritage is occupied by Bar and Diner. This is an American concept bar - restaurant that serves food all day with the fully licensed bar open from 11am - 11pm. There is a friendly vibrant atmosphere which extends through to the sun deck which has seating for over 300 and is regularly full and where on warm summer evenings you can enjoy the sun and watch the world go by! The restaurant serves a variety of food based around the American theme and there are frequent barbeques on the sun deck when the weather permits!

ccommodation is traditional, comprising some 23 bedrooms and 3 self-contained apartments, all with private en-suite facilities. Several rooms have a double and a single bed, some have two doubles. The apartments are fully furnished, have dining and kitchen areas and can accommodate up to 5 people. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities together with central heating and all but one room has a sea view. There is a passenger lift to all floors.

ne of the many features of the hotel is the Leisure Complex. Situated at ground floor level it comprises a fully equipped gymnasium, sunbed, sauna, jacuzzi and luxury swimming pool. There is also a separate beauty salon to pamper yourself with special offers for guests of the hotel.

The whole complex is open from 9am - 9pm, Monday to Friday and 10am - 8pm Saturday & Sunday.

How to find us.... ....from the M5, follow signs to Torbay Torquay A380 via the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbot. Once you are in Torquay follow the signs for the Seafront and Harbour. Drive along the seafront and turn left into Shedden Hill. The Heritage Hotel is approximately 100 metres on the left.
