Set above picturesque Cockington Valley, away from the bustle of the town, Fairmount
is a haven for the discerning visitor seeking a peaceful setting for a holiday.
On a south-facing hillside, Fairmount House, with its mature gardens and sun-filled
patios, overlooks the quiet, residential valley of Chelston, with distant views
towards Brixham across the bay, yet Torquay Harbour lies within easy reach and
the sea is less than a mile away.
All eight of our bedrooms are tastefully furnished, clean and comfortable. They
all have en-suite bathrooms or shower with basins and toilet.
Remote control TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, clock radios and
heating are provided.
Two of the rooms are on the lower floor, with their own private doors opening
directly into the garden, prefect for families, wheelchair users and guests who
bring their dogs.
We also have two cots with bedding and baby listening monitors and high chairs.

The Theme of Fairmount
is a relaxed one and the hotel still has the atmosphere of a large family home
than a formal hotel. South facing over the secluded garden, the Conservatory Bar
is a delightful spot to end the day.
