Welcome to Everglades Hotel

The resident proprietors, Kevin and Carole Darnell, privately run Everglades where you will be assured of a warm welcome.

Originally a Victorian Villa, Everglades stands in its own stone walled grounds enjoying magnificent views over Torbay.

Everglades has its own car park, sufficient for all guests and enables you to leave your car to enjoy the close proximity of the town centre, harbour, sea front and Theatre.

The garden is a very private, secluded suntrap, lawned, including palm trees and is supported by an elevated sun deck adjoining the dining room with views across Torbay.

Our catering is based on home cooking with a choice of menu for both breakfast and dinner (optional). The licensed restaurant has a wide range of wines, beers and spirits. The dining room is an attractive, light room with views over Torbay.

Everglades has ten bedrooms; all are ensuite with either a shower or bath/shower. Each room has colour TV, radio, telephone and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities.

Hair dryers are available for the rooms.

All rooms are furnished to a high standard and most have sea views.

Everglades also provides guests with access to the internet, we have a guest's computer room which includes a broadband wireless system throughout the Hotel.

Everglades Hotel is open all year round, with the exception of the Christmas period.
