Welcome to the Clevedon Hotel, set in the tranquil area of Meadfoot Bay....

The Clevedon Hotel stands in its own secluded grounds just 200m from the beach in the beautiful area of Meadfoot Bay, Torquay, Devon.

Built around 1850, the Clevedon hotel was originally a gracious private villa and is now a popular family hotel.

The Clevedon is a family run Hotel where you will always find a warm welcome, relaxing atmosphere and personal attention at all times.

Ideally situated for the holidaymaker who wishes to forget the car, both the beach at Meadfoot and Torquay town centre are a short stroll away, as is the harbour side where those who wish to enjoy Torquay's nightlife will discover theatres, pubs, clubs and dancing to every type of music.

Business people will find a comfortable environment to relax in after the toil of the day. Email, Internet and fax facilities are also available on request.

The lounge is warm and comfortable where one can have coffee or relax and watch television.
All ten bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. Each has en-suite toilet and shower or bath, colour television, clock radio, hair dryer and complimentary tea/coffee tray.

Larger rooms with sea and garden views are also available as well as a ground floor twin for those who have difficulty with stairs.


Our elegant and spacious family rooms are equipped with both bath and shower and walk in wardrobe / dressing room.

A full traditional English/Continental Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room overlooking the garden.

In the evening you can relax in our licensed lounge bar with sun terrace offering a wide choice of beers and lagers as well as a selection of wines and spirits.
