Welcome to The Beverley House Hotel

Our hotel accommodation is of a high standard and has been awarded a 4 diamond rating by the English Tourist Council. We are located very close to the Torquay Museum, Kents Cavern and are only a short distance from Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones, the Princess Theatre and the harbour and sea front.
Torquay is a wonderful spot for a holiday! Welcome to our hotel which is a Grade II listed building, built in the 19th Century by the Admiralty for their Captain's families. We have included some photos from our hotel on this page which we hope will give you a feel for the charm of our residence.

We are open all the year round and the hotel is licensed. Guests may use our spacious lounge and patio deck with outstanding views of Torquay. We can assure you of a warm, friendly welcome as we are committed to ensuring your stay is a memorable one. If you are travelling by coach or rail we can arrange for a courtesy car to meet you and transport you to our hotel.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation Details Our accommodation comprises a total of nine rooms, eight double and one single room. Five of our rooms enjoy en-suite facilities these rooms are as follows:

  • 1 x twin room
  • 1 x single room
  • 1 x family room (double & single beds, sleeps 3) ground floor
  • 1 x family room (double & interconnecting room with bunkbeds, sleeps 4)
  • 1 x double room

All rooms have colour TVs, hairdryer, well stocked hospitality tray (tea/coffee, milk, sugar & biscuit). Finer touches such as cotton buds and cottonwool balls in each room, also, individual soaps, sachet of shampoo and bath/shower gel. Also, available for purchase are, last minute items such as toothpaste/toothbrush, family size soap & shampoo, hairspray.

Breakfast is served downstairs in our Dining area which also accomodates our bar and armchairs for pre-dinner drinks if you opt to dine in-house in the evening. If you wish to relax in a homely atmosphere, we have a large and comfortable lounge with a TV for your use and in the summer why not enjoy a seat in our garden.
