| Welcome to Puffins Clubs The Puffins Afterschool Clubs not only provide parents with an opportunity for quality childcare after a childs school day, but they also give children the chance to make new friends and experience new and exciting activities, including sports, creative, drama and a free choice from a wide variety of play equipment. An Afterschool collection service from schools in Torquay is available. |

Puffins Holiday Clubs The Holiday Club is open all school holidays, half terms and teacher training days, for children up to 12 years. The club is another great opportunity for the children to make new friends and to meet with existing school friends. There are fun and exciting activities for all age groups to enjoy, including craft, music, drama, sports and free play, where the children have the freedom to choose what they want to do. |
| Puffins Club Aim Puffins believe that children have the right to play. Through play, a child learns and develops as an individual. We aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which this is possible. We aim to empower the children, encourage them to make decisions and choices that will further their own development and benefit the rest of the children and staff as a team. Each individual can be assured we hold no prejudices, and all activities can be adapted to help each child develop at their own pace. |

| Staffing All play leaders and assistants are trained to meet social services requirements. The staff to child ratios are higher than those required by the Children's Act regulations 1:8. This ensures that the children have the opportunity for individual attention and continuity of care. |
