Puffins of Exeter - Childcare Centres

Since 1990 Puffins of Exeter has provided care for children in a warm and homely atmosphere. Puffins own other Childcare Centres, some within a close proximity to its Head Office, and they have now expanded to other parts of Devon.

Puffins in Torbay
The Torbay Centre is situated in Castle Road, approximately 100 yards from the Town Hall. It is close to the town centre and a large central car park. Puffins offer care for children from 0-5 years in a stimulating and homely environment, providing 39 places each day from 7.30am to 6.30pm. The Centre is located in an extended house which has been purposely converted to offer a home from home atmosphere for small children. Each group has its own area offering an age appropriate environment in which children can learn and play.

There is a safe, outdoor play area to the rear of the building in which children can enjoy activities in the open air. it is fully enclosed and secure - security is of the utmost importance. Puffins centres have no obvious signboard advertising for this reason, and all are provided with coded security locks.

The Centre is open throughout the year, closed only for Bank Holidays. We open from 7.30am til 6.30pm.

 

Puffins Philosophy
Our prime aim is to place babies and children in a safe and happy environment, within well managed groups with professional staff, overseen by fully hands-on managers.

Each childcare centre is registered and annually inspected by Social Services. The centres which cater for four year olds are inspected by OFSTED for the acceptance of Early Years Education grant funding.

Open during all school holidays and half terms for children up to the age of 12 years.
