Paignton Zoo is a great day out for everyone. As well as the thousands of animals, there’s a miniature train ride, a wobbly jungle bridge in Lemur Wood, indoor and outdoor play areas, keeper talks and feeding times, places to eat and places to sit – all packed into 80 acres of natural habitat.

Attractions
Jungle Fun is an indoor play area which is free to use. It’s open every day from 10.00 a.m. and closes half an hour before the Zoo closes, so please check times on arrival. While the kids are playing in the ball pools and on the other play equipment, adults can relax in the coffee shop which serves a variety of snacks and hot and cold drinks.

Face painting is offered to visitors of all ages from Easter until October. You will find the face painting in the centre of the Zoo near the Education Centre. There is an extra charge for this activity.

There are various outdoor play areas around the Zoo for children to let off some steam. They can play on the swings, slides, tunnels, ropes and climbing frames whilst adults can have a rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.

If you are looking for somewhere with a difference for your event, then look no further; the Zoo provides a unique venue whatever the occasion.

The Island Restaurant with great views overlooking Gibbon Island has meeting, conference, wedding and party facilities and is fully licensed. The Primley Room, Whitley Room and Ark Lecture Theatre are also available for smaller meetings.
