All our apartments have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We do not have any flatlets, studio apartments or pull down wall beds. All our double beds are 4'6 and the single beds are 3'.

We recognise that some guests like to relax in a hot bath so we have retained baths in two of our apartments, supplemented with electric showers. Our apartments are furnished in a contemporary fashion and thoughtfully decorated. We are always open to suggestions from guests on how we can make their stay with us more enjoyable.

Apartments Facilities

• Each apartment is fully equipped including full size electric cooker, fridge, toaster and microwave, colour television with digital free view and DVD player.
• Apartments are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard.
• Beds are made up for your arrival.
• Please bring your own hand/bath towels, although these are available to hire.
• Electricity is provided by prepayment electric card system.
• All apartments are heated by electric convector heaters.Storage heating in the upper apartments and central heating on the lower ground floor is provided free of charge.
• There is an ironing board and iron for guest use on each floor.
• Free wireless internet connection is available.
• Parking is available at the front of the building with one space allocated for each apartment.
• Free use of a small stock of reading books, umbrellas, buckets, spades and fishing nets.
• Apartments are usually available from 2.30 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure. We do allow guests early access should their apartment be ready for them.
• New for 2010! guests will have use of an on-site laundry facility

For guests who travel by bus or train and arrive late we will gladly arrange for some basic provisions to be available for their arrival. We will assist guests in unloading their vehicles and help with luggage to their apartment if they wish.

We are situated a short flat walk from Paignton's promenade, its lovely Victorian Pier, picturesque Harbour, Cinema, Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway and Blue Flag graded beaches.

Hudson's Bay is in easy reach from the train and bus stations and the local amenities where the all important restaurants, cafes and shops can be enjoyed.

Paignton and South Devon

Paignton town centre is on the doorstep and Torquay is only 3 miles away. Hudson's Bay is within easy reach of many towns, villages and attractions including Brixham, Cockington, Dartmouth, Babbacombe, Newton Abbott, Totnes, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Dawlish and the natural beauty of Dartmoor.

We are perfectly positioned for enjoying the variety of summer time regattas which include firework displays, concerts, classic cars, steam exhibitions, the famous Red Arrows, Long Ships, Power Boat racing and much more. Amongst the places to visit nearby is 'Greenway' and its gardens. This was the holiday home of the famous crime writer Agatha Christie; also there is the world famous Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Babbacombe Model Village and the Geopark. Newton Abbot Race Course and the numerous street markets are also popular.
